Established in the year 2005, Prasana is a philanthropic trust registered
under the name of Prasana Social Welfare Foundation
(Registration number E/3968/Thane) and now ISO 9001:2015 certified.
The Trust mainly runs an old age home for elderly people, both male and
female, who are homeless and face health problems.

The Trust works towards rehabilitation and employment of divorced and
unsupported women.

It is currently managed by Mr. Pratap singh Nathani, who is the founder of the trust and has extensive experience in social services and is well versed in the problems of the elderly.

With over two decades long stint in the Financial Services sector, Mr. Nathani has mapped the entire financial market’s landscape during his successful stint beginning from Apple Finance distributing retail bonds/NCDs & FDs, to individuals raising debt for Government Institutions via Non-SLR bonds and selling them to Provident Funds at Centrum &Darashaw.

Key objectives of the trust include:

• To provide support to the aged and disease – stricken, bedridden people.
• To provide care to the aged without discrimination of caste, creed and sex.
• To provide shelter to destitute women.
